| PAYMENT POLICY - IMPORTANT INFORMATION |
Failure to Show or Cancel The Mid-Eastern Chapter of APCO is able to provide meals and programs at its Chapter Meetings at a very reasonable rate due to the sponsorship of our Vendor Partners. The cost to the chapter for meals greatly exceeds the amount we charge our attendees and the difference is covered by the sponsorship of these Vendors. Attendees who register for a meeting, but who do not attend the meeting do not get the benefit of hearing from the Vendor Sponsors. It is the policy of the Mid-Eastern Chapter of APCO that persons who register for a meeting and fail to show or cancel will be charged the full cost that is charged to the chapter for the meal served at the meeting. Registrations for future events will not be accepted until payment is made.\ Failure to Pay for Registration It is expected that the Mid-Eastern Chapter of APCO will be paid promptly for registration costs incurred by those attending its functions as the Chapter is required to pay promptly for the services provided at these functions. Attendees may elect to pay at a function or be billed after a function. If an attendee elects to be billed for the function, the chapter will send an invoice. If payment is not received within 45 days of the invoice, a second invoice will be sent. If payment is not received or arrangements made, within 15 days of the second invoice a third invoice will be sent with a copy of the invoice being sent to the head of the agency the attendee was representing. If a third invoice is sent, a $5.00 processing charge will be added to the cost of the registration. Registrations for future events will not be accepted if an attendee has two outstanding registration payments due. Payment with “Bad Check” Attendees who pay with a check that is returned by the Bank will be invoiced for the amount of the registration and charged a $25.00 processing fee. Failure to make good on the payment within 30 days of notification, will result in a copy of the invoice being sent to the head of the agency the attendee was representing. The Chapter has the right to require cash payment at the time of the event when it has determined that a payment issue exists. Registrations for future events will not be accepted until payment is made. |
